Motivational Speaker Extraordinaire Willie Jolley to Speak at Springbrook

Willie Jolley has been called the most powerful speaker, singer and author combination in the world today! In 1999, he was named “…One of the Outstanding Five Speakers in the World” by Toastmasters International. Only 50 speakers worldwide have been bestowed that honor! Former winners include Colin Powell, Norman Schwarzkopf, Nelson Mandela and Margaret Thatcher! And in 2005, Willie Jolley was inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame! He’s authored two international best selling books: “It Only Takes A Minute To Change Your Life!” and “A Setback Is A Setup For A Comeback.” Willie Jolley will speak to the Springbrook student body on Thursday, February 26, 2009

Natalia Lemus wins 2nd Place!

Natalia Lemus, a senior at Springbrook, took second place in the County-wide arts exhibition now showing at Johns Hopkins University in Gaithersburg. There were more than 80 entries to this show. She is truly a fabulously talented artist.

Student of the Year!

Anthony Torrence was named Student of the Quarter at Thomas Edison High School of Technology for Outstanding Performance in Foundations of Automotive Technology. Anthony attends Springbrook for his academic courses and Edison for his technical courses. We are proud of him.
